Martin Curti is the host and producer of New World Buzz. For over fifteen years he has introduced new music from around the globe to his listeners. Born to an American father and a Spanish mother, Martin took an early interest in multi-cultural music. He considers himself a citizen of the world, though he resides in Pittsburgh, PA. He grew up collecting records of his favorite rock, jazz, and pop artits and listening to them on his dad's turntable with his family. Years later, he's still doing what he loves: listening to good music, but now, he shares it with a world-wide audience. Martin has interviewed many of world music's biggest names, as well as its most up-and-coming stars. Artists like Peter Gabriel, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Oliver Mtukudzi, Anoushka Shankar, Habib Koité, and many others have been featured guests on New World Buzz. Martin Curti has been featured in numerous world music trade publications and New World Buzz is recognized as a major world music outlet by the recording industry.
